Womb-an

Woman
who spreads her wings
and comes to perch upon
the edges of everyone's
pain

Woman
so blue spill stretch of
ocean swallowing Beuaty
whole;
smells of toil,
surprises mystery

Woman
earth's rise of mountains
slouch at her feet while
men juggle balls to seduce
power from an open palm

Woman
who sips from her
sister's cup
in a kaleidoscopic kichen
moment --
coffee steaming --
sips
sharing love's
disappointments, conquests,
what he didn't say
and what his silence
means

Woman
the sphinx whose
truths are buried i the pages
unwritten in her diary

Woman
womb-an
trying to find her way home
as she flutters in and out of
dawn's sweet kiss upon her face

Spring 2016

tulips dressed in crayon colors
taunt a flirty breeze warm as
a whisper against a baby’s cheek
flowers nodding at people passing
smiling for no reason under
a sky blue with expectation
clouds hopeful in spite of rain

I See You

when brim the ocean
waves above a shiny see
I see you there

standing freely

cock-center sun the day
I blush beneath the
starry way
you look at me

so don't mail kisses
unwrap me in your caress;
undress the moon
and shadow me away
